Today was a slow day for Autos at Fitch. A lot of players that usually sign did not sign. I was able to get Rudy Jaramill on a Index Card and a Carlos Marmol on a 8X10. So far tonight I won this bad boy to knock him off the HOF list. There are a few more I'm going after tonight!

Wow I just won one of the auctions! Knocked off two HOF'rs!
Also won a dozen of OMLBS! :D
Won the Walton to knock him off the list!

It has been a slow two days for cards. I lost out on a Stockon/Magic Johnson Dual Auto. I was outbid again by one dollar. It's all good. Yesterday I headed down to Fitch to watch some of the Cubs practice. I was able to get a Geovanny Soto Auto on a 8X10.

Today I went down again and didn't have anything for Billy Williams to sign which was a bummer because I really wanted his autos. I then realized a little later I had a pitcure with Cubs logos on it that I made last year. I was able to get some autos onto that: James Russell, Trey McNutt, Chris Carpenter, Angel Guzman, Blake Dewitt, Jay Jackson, Randy Wells, James Adduci & another I cannot remeber/Make out.

I'm watching a few items that are ending tonight including a dozen of OMLB's! I'm hoping I can get a decent deal on those. I cannot believe people on eBay sell non official photos of MLB players for so much. It's insane! Oh well I guess they have their hustle hand strong!

Today went so fast it was like a blink of an eye it was over with. I woke up really late and had to get ready for work right when I awoke. Work was just like any other day other than the crazy rain we had and temperatures were in the 50's-60's all day long. On the card front I was able to win a Earl Monroe Auto for the HOF Basketball collection. I did get two cards in the mail today. A Ozzie Newsome Auto for the Football HOF Collection and a Randy Wells Auto for the Cubs PC.

All in all it was a good day on the job front and received to cards in the mail that just ended a few days ago and were shipped promptly!

Tonight I decided I wanted to try and knock off Eric Dickerson off the HOF Auto list. I was watching a 2010 Topps Triple Threads Auto/Jersey on eBay for a good hour and a half. I placed my bid with a few seconds left and was outbid by a buck! Yeah ONE stinking dollar but the person who sniped the auction probably had a much larger maximum bid. I had won a Randy Wells Auto from the same seller so I thought I would get both and combine the shipping but it was a no-go on the Dickerson. I'm sure there will be another that pops up but I was disappointed that I got outbid! Here is the Wells Auto!

I decided later that night I would join one of Chads(TheTruth17 on BlogTV) basketball breaks for 35 bucks. We were breaking 4 boxes of 2009/10 Certified, 2007-08 SpX and 2009-2010 Classics. I ended up getting the Spurs in the break and thought I would have a great chance of pulling something decent. Well Chad pulled a Insert from LCM of Tim Duncan and a Dual Jersey of Duncan/Ginoboli out of SpX. The Knicks absolutely killed the break by getting 8 hits one being a Walt Frazier Auto! Overall getting something out of the breaks is usually good because there are teams that pay and then go hitless. I will probably just stick with singles and maybe join one here and there but it will not be a everyday thing.

Today was an epic mailday for me. I received my Jordan Auto along with the Jerry West Auto, Triology Iguodala Auto and Raymond Berry Auto. I'm so glad I have decided to pick-up HOF autos rather than rookies. I got so burned with collecting Derek Hagan during his rookie year. I was taking a risk and I lost out big time especially since now Derek only plays the Giants special team return team. You can see the pictures of those pick-ups down the blog a little. I need to figure out why I cannot get my scanner to work on my Mac.

I also got tickets for the Angels/Cubs game over at Tempe Diablo today. First row down the first base line right smack in the middle of that side! I can't wait until he makes it out here and its going to be a short trip but I am most looking forward to our trip to New York. I need to get those tickets right when they go on sale as its for the Yankees/Red Sox series!

Every enjoi your night/day and keep collecting HARD!!!!!! :D
Well today didn't really go as planned. I got down to Fitch way to late for getting some stuff signed by the players. According to a website their practices start at 9:30 AM!! I'm guessing the best time for me to get anything signed will be during the games. So many things have changed over the years when it comes to autographs at Fitch & Hohokam. Things used to be so laxed when getting Autos during spring training and there was an actual fan fest at Mesa Ampitheatre. I do not think they have that any more.

I did win another item to go a long with the NFL HOF Autograph collection!

I'm watching a nice Roger Craig that ends in about a hour so hopefully I will also be adding that to the collection!

Well I didn't win anything yesterday or today. I guess nothing I've been watching has been worth the pick up but I did forget about a Iguodala Exquisite Auto. I'm sure another will come up and I will snatch it up. I did get my first Pablo Sandoval Auto today. I'm not sure if I want to collect more of him but I am a fan of the Panda!

One great thing about today was that the Cubs and other teams reported for Spring Training here in Arizona. I'm most likely going to be heading down to Fitch in the morning to watch the practices then come back in the afternoon for Autographs. I should probably hit Hall of Fame Collectibles before the autograph part to pick up a bat I want Starlin to sign and maybe even a dozen of OMLB(Official Major League Baseballs). I might pick up a mini Cubs helmet for Josh Vitters to sign but it really is luck with getting Autographs of certain players. I have a ton of 8X10's to get signed so that will be my goal to get those all signed and whatever else I can get signed. I am hoping the games are not too packed since the Cubs are not predicted to fare well this year. I will for sure post what I can get signed tomorrow at my first day at Fitch.

I'm extremely happy the Cubs back are in town and baseball is back it plain sight!

Today was a slow day on the eBay front. I was watching a few items but did not bid on any of them. I did lose out on a Gale Sayers I found before I headed into work. I did get the Derrek Lee Leaf Limited Button/Auto 1/1 and two of the Iguodala Autos.

There was a Randall Cunningham I was hoping to get but it went for a little over what I wanted to spend on it. I have about 10 items that I am watching that end tomorrow so it should be an interesting day of bidding.

Here is the Sayers I lost out on! I hate losing but hopefully it went to a person who deserved it!

Well I was finally able to get a response today from the seller of the Jordan Auto and paid for it! I cannot wait until it is in my possession. I'm still undecided on if I want to open up a safety deposit box at a bank or if I want to just keep it with me at home. I will most likely be shaking when it arrives and will probaly act like a kid on Christmas!

I did add another to the HOF collection. A 2009/10 Absulute Spectrum Jerry West Auto!
I'm so unsure who I want to pick up next. I want to get a lot of the biggies out of the way at first but know I cannot rush things. I'm strongly considering picking up a Bill Russell/Larry Bird dual auto! Whatever I decide on it will be the right decision!

Jordan Auto!!!

I've always wanted a Michael Jordan Auto and I never have had the money to own one. I finally now am able to and chose to bid on one on February 9th, 2011! At first I was unsure if I wanted to pull the trigger as I was talking with a fellow collector: pdazz on BlogTV during Chad(TheTruth17) Live show. I was guessing it would go for a lot more but pdazz was correct on about how much the card would go for. I will not say how much it was but it is the most I have spent on one single card. Here is the card I will build my HOF collection around:
